Thrasher
16.07.2010
In 1984 my powers of persuasion finally yielded fruit as my mum buckled under the pressure of my constant nagging and agreed to drive me the long haul into town to the nearest skate shop to buy me a 'wide' board for my birthday... walking into that skate shop was something I've never forgotten, the Santa Cruz boards I saw hanging on the wall were literal eye candy and I was flipping out eating it up... broke arse skint, my mum dropped what little hard fought cash she had on a 'house set up' which in hindsight and between us was a crap Variflex truck and wheel combo on a blank deck... and a copy of Thrasher was thrown in for free... with the firm words 'READ THIS' spat at me by the cool as fuck shop staff, my life changed irrevocably from that point.
So a few years... ok decades... later when Thrasher got in touch and asked if I'd like a 'Canvas' feature in their next issue, it was a childhood dream come true. It's only 2 pages, but it's a significant 2 pages.
GO BUY IT.

Massive thanks to Jim Thiebaud and Tommy Guerrero for the hook up and kind words.
